Entries are now open for the first Tri Guru Training Aquathon of 2017 on Monday 5th of June from Active Copley. It is a chip timed pool aquathon (400m swim, 5k run) and open to all, not just club members.
Wheelguru are organising an event on Saturday 13th May at Darley Moor, Derbyshire. It’s a on a closed motor racing circuit and is for over 40s. Race 1 is in the morning for over 60s and race 2 is in the afternoon for 40s – 60s, both races are for an hour and 15 mins. If you are unsure of your ability you can race in the older persons race, entry is open to female and male.
For those who were at the meeting on Sunday and for those who had better things to do with thier time,it was generally agreed that the Ripon Triathlon should be considered as the Team TriGuru Olympic distnce event of the year because its one of the best weekends in the triathlon calendar.

Any1 done it or know any1 who has done it? Äs an ultra it looks ''good'' & local-ish .. with me never having done an ultra (just 2 IMs), it would make it a bigger challenge for me, still do-able tho' In 2016 there were 500+ finshers, with the slowest around 24 hours
Was also looking at Brecon in November too, hillier & shorter.
