Today was supposed to be an easy ride for 2 hr 20 mins with mod - hard last 40 mins with 30 mins off. SIMPLE?????
within 10 mins Matt sped off stating that his boardman air was too fast to control!!! Going through Mobberley, we lose Matt with 4 of his Disciples!
We eventually meet up and approach the A34 for a few hundred yards till we turn off right for Prestbury. Unfortunately Matt and Mr Cane decide to time trial up the A 34, miss the turning and again are followed by the chosen few, Keith, Stafford, And Breastroke. Mr Cane apparently has 2 punctures and ends up in a coffee shop with Stafford ( surprise, surprise)
The rest of us return to home Bowlacre where Mrs puncture Lyons has prepared a nice breakfast.
54 miles completed with nice run off.

Hi Steve, Enjoyed the ride and thanks to jackie for preparing a very nice breakfast. Sorry the group got split up as it was good to have a convoy of Triguru's on the road but it didnt last long did it.
Its wind down now for Mallorca next Saturday and getting into the correct mind set for more pain in the sun, just how we like it!!!!.
Well done to the Horwich Triathlon finishers. Special performances of the day (in my humble opinion) goes to Cole Drews , he smashed it finishing just under the 2 hours which is a massive 18 minutes better than last year !!. Also great times by Julie Gummers (shes been putting in the trainging in and its paying off), Craig,Shane, and even Anthony Gummers improved by 30 seconds on last year with a significant back problem, full credit Gummers.
Thanks to the legend Martin, Paul Cane, Sean & Declan, Pete for an enjoyable ride up to Horwich to provide support to the above and some of the boys cycled back !!
