Just double checking, what are the teams for this years Season Opener at Cumbrian Commotion?:-
Steve, Ant and Jonny Brownlee or whoever you have tapped up this year?
Me, Chris and Ian (looking strong after last year)
Bunyany, Plimsole and ?????
Dom, Pete Bancroft and whoever else has been previously cast aside by Lyonsy
What are the other teams?

Hi, Team: Dave Bunyan, Plimsole (with new trainers ) and Pete Bancroft (same as last year. Despite plimsole slipping and sliding all over the course we will stick with him unlike some teams who swap and change !!. Have you booked on the race Sean?

Lot of nervous talk !!!
Lots of people getting nervous about the cumbrian commotion (particularly Mr Stafford et al).
Remember Guys its all about the taking part, honestly.
Staffords team is a mismash. Is Jimmy, original member, nice eyes, back in the team or is young Chris here to stay!!! Whos Nice eyes with, or is it dog eat dog.
No such Shennanigans in my team, with Gummers and Dom out to take on all newcomers.
Accomodation has been booked, with a big house in Hawkshead (we have not stayed there before) and coppertops as per usual.
I hope that the teams have actually entered the event and would like to know whos in whos team, so as to make sure that the accomodation has enough space etc.
Sarnie must canoe this year or his team is diqualified !!! Take note Rothy.

Rear gunners team selected!!
In order that we can keep our tradition off finishing at the rear of the rest of the tri Guru team i have been in talks with a new team manager who has gladly accepted the challenge.Hopefully with the permformance that he is currently having with manchester united David Moyes will keep us highly tuned in order to maintain the hard task to finish last. As part of the deal he will be bringing Man united trophy cabinet ( we may have to wait till end off season whilst it is fully emptied by city) to store our wooden spoons as we are now collecting plenty of them, In fact at this rate we can open a overspill store for ikea.
On the upside we have signed a new team member this year as he has been cast aside by his prevous team and has been replaced for a family member who abandond us many years ago and tried to hide his identity until recently (solictor is currently working on what is owed in spending money, christmas and birthday presents etc)
so our elite team will be Breast stroke, myself and guest athlete Jimmy Nice eye. Dont forget the rear gunners will be behind you!!!

That's fantastic news Magic. I'm delighted that Jimmy has got a team. I never wanted to drop him from our team but Ian Howarth made me because he said Jimmy was holding us back !!
Looking back, it may have been better if we had kept Jimmy - that way you could have had Uncle Chris on your team and you would have been the only full family team, ah well, that's hinsight for you.
Congratulations Jimmy you're in good hands now - always remember its all about taking part !
