The second Tri Guru Aquathon is to take place on the Sunday 25th September.
The swim will be at Copley Leisure Centre with the first wave will be at 16:00.
The cost is £10 to cover pool use and chip timing etc. Please enter on line via the following link and pay when you arrive on the day.
Please arrive at by 15:30 to to ensure you are there in good time to pay for your place and get ready to start.
The swim is a 400m swim, followed by a 5k run.
The exit to start the run will be via the fire exit in the corner of the building where the baby pool is.
We will set up a very basic transition area here, you will leave your trainers and any other requirements by the exit and change as you leave the building.
From there the run will go straight up to the football pitches and then left on the near side of the pitches.
At the end you will follow the path to the track and turn right up the gravel track then run through the new estate on Flaxfield Ave and then turn right onto Brushes Road.
You will follow this all the way around to Walkerwood Resevoir follow it around the reservoir until you come to the gate across the road, this is the turning point at which point you will retrace your route. The finish point will be back at the fire exit.
The route will be sign posted and there will be marshals on the course.
As stated on the entry form please be aware of traffic it should be light but the car park and the road up and around Walkerwood reservoir is open to traffic.
Please ensure you pay the £10 entry fee on the night as we have costs to cover!!
