Brecon Ultra Marathon !

Forums:

Hello All.

I just want to say how proud I felt seeing the boys deal with the physical and mental challenges on Saturday. There were times when it would have been easy to sack it but fair credit to you all. Special mention to Martin Cain who once again astounded me to finish 4th overall in a super human time.

I also what to say special well done to Ian Howarth who never intended on doing two laps but he looked great at the end!

Peter showed his usual mental strength once again to get it done.

Sean Stafford did his usual team mentor job on Ian and others good job Sean.

Unfortunately I had to retire at around the 30 mile mark as my body said no more for  my first DNF in my 52 years. I suppose it was going to happen at some point. I am having an x ray on my foot this week as just been to see the doctor and mu Blood pressure is  152/90 which is too high so trying to get this sorted as well.

Proud to be involved in any case as the scenery was amazing.Great weekend & well done to all.

Regards Dave Bunyan
